Exer-Rent offers monthly rental of name brand commercial cardio equipment, just like you would find in the health club (Precor, Lifefitness, Cybex, Stairmaster, Octane). There is no minimum rental term. We do not charge a pick up fee when the rental is over. The equipment is under full warranty for the entire time you rent it. If you get bored with the current rental, you can swap it for something else (treadmill for an elliptical, elliptical for recumbent bike, etc).

Affordable Pricing

We offer commercial cardio equipment in your home for as low as $80.00 per month. All you pay to get started is the delivery and install charge plus the first month’s rent. You can rent for as little as one month if you have an event you are trying to get ready for and just need to be able to get some extra cardio in or you can keep it for as long as you would like and swap it for another type of unit if you get bored with that one. When you are done with the rental all you have to do is notify us and we will schedule to pick up the equipment with no additional charge for the extraction.

Top of the Line Equipment

We have over 200 units from all of the top commercial manufacturers in stock at our facility in Katy, Texas. Some of the brands we stock are Precor, Lifefitness, Cybex, Stairmaster, Keiser, Octane and TechnoGym. We offer treadmills, ellipticals, bikes, rowers and steppers. The units we offer are typically the exact same units as the ones you would work out on at your favorite club, spa or high end hotel.

Option to Purchase

If renting equipment is not for you we also sell all of the same units that are for rent. Everything we sell has gone through our re-certification process and comes with a six month parts and labor warranty. 

Since we are in the commercial fitness service and repair business, our recertifying process begins before we even purchase the equipment. We are extremely selective about the equipment that we purchase for recertifying. We source our equipment primarily from our base of service customers. We have over 800 commercial customers for which we provide routine quarterly preventive maintenance. These customers are primarily apartments, hotels, corporate wellness centers, not the big box gyms that abuse and use-up equipment. We also work closely with the equipment manufacturers that we perform warranty repairs for to source good equipment that has been well cared for. In many cases, we are the company that did the initial install on the equipment and maintained it up to the point that it is being replaced. We do not buy worn out junk and try to make it good. We start with good equipment that has been well maintained and make it like new.

Parts Replacement:

• Mechanical parts are inspected and replaced as needed
• Batteries and drive belts are replaced on all units
• Power cords are inspected and replaced if necessary

Cosmetic / Exterior restoration:

• Thoroughly cleaned throughout
• Worn covers, shrouds and end caps are replaced
• Any minor scratches or paint wear are hand sanded and repainted to match

Final Inspection:

• Re-inspection and re-testing of all functions and features to guarantee quality

When we started the company, we serviced both residential and commercial-grade equipment. We changed our focus about 20 years ago to service only commercial-grade fitness equipment. We have a full-time staff of more than 20 employees who range from factory-trained technicians to in-house upholstery craftsmen, all working from our 6,000+ square-foot warehouse in Katy, Texas.

We are proud to be the manufacturer warranty representatives for almost all of the major fitness equipment manufacturers. We service southeast Texas, including Austin, Houston, San Antonio, College Station and Beaumont.

We also use our expertise to offer full commercial certified pre-owned fitness equipment for sale and for rent.
